This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“you” or “the Player”) and Krufs Productions (“we”, “us”, or “the Developer”) governing your use of Heavy Metal Death Can (the “Game”).
By installing, copying, or playing the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Game.
1. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and play the Game for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with this Agreement.
The Game is licensed, not sold.
2. Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game, including but not limited to all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights, are owned by Krufs Productions or its licensors.
This Agreement does not grant you ownership of the Game or any part of it.
3. Restrictions
You may not, unless expressly permitted by applicable law:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute the Game except as permitted by Steam
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Game
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use the Game for commercial purposes (including resale, rental, or commercial exploitation)
- Make the Game available to others outside the terms allowed by Steam’s platform features
4. Offline Use
The Game is designed to be played entirely offline and does not require an internet connection to function after installation, except as required by the Steam client itself.
5. User Content
The Game does not allow you to upload, share, or distribute user-generated content.
6. Updates and Patches
We may provide updates, patches, or bug fixes for the Game at our discretion. Any updates provided are considered part of the Game and subject to this Agreement.
We do not guarantee continued support or future updates.
7. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms.
Upon termination, you must stop using the Game and delete all copies in your possession, subject to Steam’s platform rules.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You use the Game at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Krufs Productions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Game.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Game.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
12. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Krufs Productions regarding the Game and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
